My name is Julien Mpia Massa

I graduated with a master’s degree in public relation from the Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium. My studies covered many topics. I was particularly drawn to marketing communication, web communication and internal communication. I also attended online classes covering Google Analytics and Digital Marketing topics.

I am currently working as a communication manager at Fondation IDEA asbl, The think tank of Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce. Dynamic, I have a great capacity for adaptation and autonomy in carrying out the tasks assigned to me. Seeing how the digital world was growing fast, I decided to work as a Media Planner assistant in a digital agency to improve my digital skills. With this covid-19, I may say this experience helped me in my remote work during the pandemic. I improved skills such as Google ads management and social media. I have a sense of responsibility and conflict management that has been proven in my years as president in student association. I also participated, as a volunteer, in activities such as Les Ardentes and Solidaris festival (both music festival).

During my uni years, I have put my theory classes into practice in a variety of ways. Most effectively as President at “Cercle des Etudiants Internationaux de Namur” and “CAFRIKAP”. Both projects aims to promote intercultural environment at the university campus, where I had the opportunity to improve my ability to communicate effectively, clearly and correctly as well as establish and maintain professional relationships within a team environment. I improved skills such as offline/online media communication, event management as well as a sense of responsibility and conflict management. As member of the marketing team at Junior Entreprise de Namur, a student association that provides auditing services in the areas of marketing, strategy and IT, I had the opportunity to learn different aspect of project management and corporate event.

During my university years, I worked as a freelance IT gadget’s saler. I made technological scanning on internet to find out upcoming gadgets at best price and then re-sell it at university campus. In 2016, I started as a freelance photographer and video maker. I also launched, with two of my brothers, a customized clothing brand, MassaMwana. These different experiences allowed me to work on my entrepreneurial side and improve my abilities to work within media such as Facebook, Instagram Twitter, Snapchat and Pinterest
